In the heart of Mbiko, Uganda and its surrounding communities, we're providing the tools and support for women to start and sustain small businesses. Our conviction lies in the fact that women—the nurturers of society—can uplift entire communities, paving the way for sustainable development and breaking the cycle of poverty.

A Self-Sustained Future
We envision a revitalized Mbiko, where women are the architects of their community, empowered economically through their own small businesses. Our vision extends to a community where every woman has the ability to support her family, ensure the education of her children, and contribute significantly to communal progress. This transformation will allow the community to stand on its own feet, eliminating constant reliance on external financial aid, and foster a spirit of self-sustainability.

Our mission is to empower women and transform communities. We achieve this by providing non-interest business loans to women, facilitating their access to financial resources for their entrepreneurial ventures. We are dedicated to fostering a supportive environment through the Tandika Women’s Business Cooperative, where we encourage shared learning and mentorship. Our goal is to extend our mission to the community at large with our Tandika Community Center, a hub for business meetings, training, and community-based income-generating projects.
